There is a growing demand for MCS certification among new build developers to meet the standards for warranties and building control completion certificates, in line with NHBC, LABC, and local building control regulations.

Self Build

The £7500 Boiler Upgrade Grant is available for Eligible self-build.

What is an 'eligible self-build'?

It's a property that:

  • Will only start be being used or occupied after the new heat pump is commissioned.

  • Has been built mainly using the labour or resources of the first owner.

  • Has never have been owned by a business or organisation.

  • Need to provide invoices to show the self build owner has purchased many of the building materials such as wall and roof invoices
